Paul Allen

Paul is a UMHB Alum that is originally from Pearland, Tx. Paul played football at UMHB while pursuing his degree in Exercise and Sports Science. A self-proclaimed strength enthusiast, Paul handles all of the programming for our Strength classes, Sports Performance programs, and our Powerlifting program. He also teaches strength, powerlifting, and conditioning classes for UMHB students. Paul believes in improving everyone's capabilities through better movement quality, while also increasing strength and endurance. As the owner and head trainer, once you are a part of the OG community, you have Paul on your side!

Alyssa Allen

Alyssa brings a wealth of knowledge and tenacity from her personal experience as a competitive athlete and long time competitive gymnastics coach. She coached gymnastics for about 13 years, even leading one of her gymnasts to compete at the highest level in NCAA gymnastics. Alyssa was a competitive gymnast for 20+ years, starting at the age of 5. She competed Division 1 NCAA gymnastics at Centenary College. After her gymnastics career, she continued doing strength training and eventually found Crossfit. She was a part of the Crossfit Sprag team that qualified to and competed at the 2017 Crossfit Games Regionals. Crossfit has helped her find a passion for Olympic Weightlifting, where she now competes for Spoon Barbell. She is incredibly competitive and loves to bring her energy and motivation to the OG crew.

Courtney has a background in multiple athletic fields. Since the age of 8 years old she has competed in multiple team sports such as basketball, track and field, CrossFit and most recently she has added Powerlifting to the mix. She uses the idea that everyone's fitness journey is unique to each individual and she aims to motivate and empower others.

Marcus Wimby

Marcus is the face of our OG kids athletics program. He loves working with kids and is looking forward to the future of the program. He is working on finishing up his IYCA Speed &Agility Specialist Certification. Marcus played football at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. He is originally from New Orleans but lived in Dallas since 2005 leading up to college.

Chris is a retired Veteran with 20 years of service. He is a certified personal trainer who believes fitness is a very important part of every day life-especially for your mentality. He is passionate about God, faith, family and fitness.

Ryan Johnson
Coach

B.S. in Exercise Physiology - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
Ryan played collegiate football at Tarleton State and UMHB. He recently graduated with a degree in exercise physiology from UMHB. Ryan is a Belton native who has been around sports and training since around six years old. In the last year he has competed in a few weightlifting competitions under Coach Alyssa, qualifying to the USA Weightlifting Collegiate National Championship, as well as the Under 25 National Championship. He hopes to continue training and working his way up through the rankings at the Senior level.

Olan Vining III

Minor in Business Administration
Olan is a UMHB graduate student working towards his M.S. in Exercise Physiology. During his time at UMHB, he played football and was a member of the 2018 National Championship team. Olan specializes in youth athletics, and has experience training collegiate athletes and preparing them for their upcoming season. He also has experience with special populations through completing an internship with Baylor Scott & White's Cardiac Rehabilitation. Olan was born in New Orleans, LA, but grew up in San Antonio, TX.

Luke McDonald
Front Desk & Coach

Luke joined the military after high school and served from 2017-2022. While in the military he trained his peers and kept his squadron members from failing their fitness tests. Now out of the military, he trains full time and has dedicated all his efforts to helping people obtain their fitness goal. Luke was born and raised here, a Texan through-and-through.

Dane aims to build athletic development through a foundation of correct body alignment, mobility, and stability. Developing a body that moves well and unrestricted will increase clients potential in all aspects of their fitness and every day activities. Dane is focused on building a strong, resilient and healthy body to address anything that may be holding his clients back. Dane's passion is guiding people on a journey to achieve high levels of physical ability.
